Mr Jaakko Eskola, M.Sc. (Eng.), has been appointed Vice President, Sales & Marketing in Wärtsilä’s Power Plants business as of March 16, 2005. He heads the Power Plants world-wide sales organization with Regional Directors reporting to him. Mr Eskola continues heading Wärtsilä Development & Financial Services Oy until further notice. He reports to Pekka Ahlqvist, Group Vice President and head of the Power Plants business and is a member of the Power Plants business board.
Mr Eskola has been working for Wärtsilä since 1998. He is based in Helsinki, Finland.
