Wärtsilä has been informed that the agreement announced on 19 September 2014 regarding the restructuring of the Wärtsilä-ownership of Fiskars, Investors and their joint venture Avlis has today been completed.
Following the completion of said transaction, Fiskars Group’s direct ownership is 9,881,781 shares or 5.01% of Wärtsilä’s share capital and total votes. Avlis Invest AB’s direct ownership in Wärtsilä has increased above 15% to 33,066,544 shares or 16.76% of Wärtsilä’s share capital and total votes. Avlis Invest AB has become a wholly owned subsidiary of Invaw Holding AB, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary if Investor AB. Thus, Investor AB’s and Invaw Holding AB’s indirect ownership has increased above 15% to 33,066,544 shares or 16.76% of Wärtsilä’s share capital and total votes. Furthermore, the shareholder’s agreement between Fiskars and Investor has been terminated.
