    BlackRock, Inc. has informed Wärtsilä Corporation that it has purchased Wärtsilä shares on 5 January 2011 and now owns more than one twentieth (1/20) of the company’s votes. Following the transaction BlackRock Inc. owns 4,941,593 shares or 5.01% of Wärtsilä’s share capital and total votes.
