Subscription of shares under Wärtsilä’s 2001 option scheme began on 1 April 2003. Altogether 198.900 options were exercised between 7 March 2006 and 25 April 2006, in accordance with the terms of the scheme, entitling subscription of 298,350 Wärtsilä B shares. The increase in share capital resulting from these subscriptions totals EUR 1,044,225.00.
Under the terms of the 2002 option scheme the share subscription period began on 1 April 2004. Altogether 82,200 options were exercised between 7 March 2006 and 25 April 2006, in accordance with the terms of the scheme, entitling subscription of 123,300 Wärtsilä B shares. The increase in share capital resulting from these subscriptions totals EUR 431,550.00.
The total increase in the company’s share capital is EUR 1,475,775.00, after which the share capital amounts to EUR 330,887,639.50 and the total number of shares to 94,539,341 divided to 23,579,587 Series A shares and 70,959,754 Series B shares.
The company will register the increase in share capital in the Trade Register.
