Delivered in 2008, the 78m ROV / Subsea Vessel Nor Valiant is a highly specialized vessel designed by Wärtsilä Ship Design for a wide range of subsea support work.
Integral to its function to carry out remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and diving support operations is its dynamic positioning capability which is enhanced by two retractable thrusters located at the bow.
The 700m 2 deck area provides ample deck space for the safe usage and mobilisation of ROVs and equipment. The helideck Sirkorsky S-92 and Super-puma helicopters for transporting and evacuation of personnel.
