Wärtsilä Gas Solutions, part of technology group Wärtsilä, will supply Nordic energy company Gasum with biogas upgrading and liquefaction solutions for their new bioLNG plant. The plant will produce high-quality bioLNG from agricultural and organic household waste. The order was booked by Wärtsilä in Q4 2024.
This new plant is an important part in fulfilling our ambitious goal of bringing 7 TWh worth of renewable gas annually to the Nordic market. We are happy to continue our cooperation with Wärtsilä in this second big greenfield biogas plant investment project in Sweden.
