The Superstar, built in 2008, is equipped with two Wärtsilä 12V46 main engines and three Wärtsilä Vaasa 6R32LNE auxiliary engines.
The Superstar is a fast ropax ferry owned by Estonia-based Tallink, and operated on the company’s Helsinki–Tallinn service. The green colour of the Superstar’s hull characterizes the environmental aspects of the ship. The vessel consumes less fuel, features the latest technical solutions, and creates much smaller waves than smaller high speed crafts.
The Tallink group is the biggest shipping company in Estonia in terms of sales. Tallink is the market leader in the whole Nordic region of the Baltic Sea (including the routes between Finland and Sweden).
