Wärtsilä Italia announce that as of 4th of October 2022, Michele Cafagna has been appointed as Managing Director for Wärtsilä Italy. Michele takes over from Andrea Bochicchio, who will continue in his role as global Director of QuantiServ & Workshop Development, supporting the journey of improving services operations as part of Wärtsilä strategy.
Michele has been with Wärtsilä for 20 years with responsibilities in businesses and global support functions, most recently as Vice President of Continuous Improvement. He will remain in his Vice President role to develop continuous improvement activities throughout Wärtsilä.
