A type of toilets operating on the vacuum principle. Usually, the vacuum is created by an ejector. The vacuum toilets use a freshwater fed directly from the main without the need for a header tank. With only about 1.5 litres of water
per flush the vacuum system uses smaller diameter outlet pipework.
