Wärtsilä operations in Azerbaijan started in 1995. Wärtsilä Azerbaijan LLC was registered in Azerbaijan in September 2007 as a legal entity with extensive workshop facility in order to provide life-cycle support for seven Power Plants as well as for marine and offshore installations in the Caspian region.
