This training course is aimed for ship crews with Wärtsilä NOx Reduce r(NOR) onboard at the operational and management levels. The trainees should have a basic knowledge and operational experience of large medium speed engines as well as ship’s electrical & automation and auxiliary systems. General Course Objectives: The participants will: - understand the design and operation of Wärtsilä NOR. - understand the relation between Wärtsilä NOR and engine operation. - know how to fulfil environmental emission requirements and compliance with EIAPP certification set out in the IMO Tier III.
