Propulsion
This training course is designed for customers using a Wärtsilä propulsion control system that can be accessed with the Wärtsilä Service & Diagnostic Tool (WSDT). Prerequisites: Trainees should have an educational background in electrical marine engineering, with experience on board of vessels. A basic level of proficiency in written and spoken English is required. To access the propulsion control system on board, a laptop with Windows 10 is required. User must have full administrator rights on this PC. General Course Objective: After this training course the trainees are able to use the Wärtsilä Service & Diagnostic Tool on their installation and make some basic adjustments, as well as set up trends (monitoring) in the system.
