This Engine X-DF Operation training is aimed for ship engineers and operators which need detailed information about X-DF engines technologies for their daily work and operation. This training is also suitable for superintendents and fleet managers to get a good overview. Prerequisites: The trainees should have a good knowledge and operational experience of electronic controlled large bore low speed engines (RT-flex or X type). Theoretical education on internal combustion engines and understanding of technical documentation is preferred. An Engine RT-flex Operation or Engine X type Operation course is mandatory. General course objectives: The participants will understand the design, operation and basic maintenance of the engine.
