Transas Marine Pacific (Singapore) together with its distributor Marix K. K. (Japan) has secured a contract to supply 54 Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS) to Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK Line) (Tokyo, Japan), one of the world's leading shipping companies.
All vessels will be equipped with the latest type-approved Transas Navi-Sailor 4000 ECDIS.
The spokesperson from NYK Bulk Carrier Division commented: "The biggest factor in our choice of Transas Navi-Sailor as Electronic Navigation System for our fleet of over 50 bulk carriers were its cost performance, user friendly design and a high level of confidence in Transas' global service network for maintenance reliability".
