The Wärtsilä 32 Performance upgrade can reduce specific fuel oil consumption (SFOC) by up to 3.0g/kWh, saving you money.
You can achieve additional savings: thanks to the upgrade, you can also extend the maintenance intervals of the turbocharger’s rotating components by 50%. And if a turbine blade breaks, you don't necessarily have to replace the whole turbine, but only the broken blade.
