SAEM Électricité de Mayotte (EDM) improved plant availability and reliability and speeded up incident analysis by establishing interconnectivity between their power plants. The solution was to install a modern control and automation system, based on WOIS (Wärtsilä Operator Interface System), at the 38.8 MW Badamiers I & II power plants. EDM’s electricity supply to its customers has improved significantly and they have full compatibility of their control and automation systems.
