As part of our 190-year celebrations, we walk down memory lane with Yushi, reflecting on his career and some of his fond memories.
Yushi’s fascination with engine combustion technology began an illustrious 23-year career at Wärtsilä. He has always been fascinated with engine technology, and whenever he faced an obstacle, it was an opportunity for him to learn, innovate, and make a difference. He reflects that the transition from heavy fuel oil (HFO) to gas and emerging new fuels marked a significant shift in the industry.

Today, although he has retired, he is still involved with engines, using a chainsaw powered by a 2-stroke engine to cut firewood in his cottage.
