The monitoring and alarm system, which registers complete history of individual reefer containers, recording all important parameters and storing the data in a log file. REFCON uses the reefer container’s own power cable to transmit data between the container and the computer monitoring system on the vessel or in a container terminal. The standard system can monitor containers fitted with WideBand modems and containers fitted with NarrowBand Modems. Optionally it can monitor conventional reefer containers fitted with 4-Pole monitoring socket.
