Summer Power is Wärtsilä`s official summer trainee program for students studying for a degree. We are looking for over 600 summer trainees to join our teams in Vaasa, Turku and Helsinki, with hybrid work opportunities. We have summer trainee positions in a wide variety of teams with diverse tasks from all over our organization. We offer interesting tasks with extensive learning opportunities. The specific tasks of each trainee will vary depending on the team and trainee's skills and interests. You can read more about the positions from "Application categories" below.
As a summer trainee you get to work with our experts and professionals, who are truly great to work with and always ready to give you a hand and guidance when needed. As our official working language is English, most of our summer trainee positions do not require Finnish nor Swedish skills. However, there are some positions where the language requirements are wider. You can find this information from the job announcements.
Please note that to be suitable for our Summer Power -program, you must be a student. There is no relocation costs and/or immigration support available for these positions.

Our summer trainees work in teams that part of our two main business areas, Marine and Energy, or in our Global Support Functions.
