How can I find job opportunities at Wärtsilä?

All vacancies are published at our Open positions portal. If you find something interesting there, please apply for the job as instructed in the job ad. If you want to submit an open application, please create a candidate profile here. This way your information will be visible to all our recruiters.

How can I search for positions in a specific country of job area?

There are drop-down menus on the job listings. You can also select in which country you are looking for a job, which job area you are interested in and what type of job you are looking for. This also includes summer jobs, graduate positions and traineeships. If your search result is empty it means that there are no vacancies at the moment matching the area you were looking for.

I've forgotten my password to the Open positions portal. What should I do?

How can I submit my CV via e-mail?

Unfortunately, we can not accept CVs via e-mail due to data protection issues. We use our own system to ensure the best data protection for your data.

How can I apply for a trainee (internship) or thesis worker position?

Our vacancies for all positions can be found at our Open positions portal. Please apply to positions via these pages. You can also identify in the open application form if you are looking for a traineeship or a thesis worker position.

How can I apply for a graduate position?

All entry-level positions are also published at our Open positions portal.

Can I edit my application after submitting it?

Yes you can, just log in to your applicant profile here and edit the data you wish to change.

When will my application be deleted?

When submitting your application through our recruitment system, you will be requested to select the validity period of your application (3 or 6 months). Wärtsilä may store and use your information also after such period or finalization of recruitment process for, e.g., internal reporting purposes, or due to local legal requirements.

Wärtsilä may at any time decide to delete your application. Therefore, we recommend that you retain a copy of your application and other information provided to Wärtsilä.

How can I be sure that my application has been received?

When you apply for a position, you will receive a confirmation to your e-mail address within 48 hours of applying. Additionally, when you log in to your candidate profile, you will also be able to see which jobs you have applied for already.
